Oktober mit Staffel 4 auch endlich soweit. Nun hat Showtime-Pr\u00c3\u00a4sident und CEO David Nevins auf der TCA in Beverly Hills bekannt gegeben, dass auch eine f\u00c3\u00bcnfte Staffel von Ray Donovan erscheinen soll. Diese wird aus 12 einst\u00c3\u00bcndigen Episoden bestehen und die Dreharbeiten werden im kommenden Jahr beginnen. Die Hauptrolle in Ray Donovan \u00c3\u00bcbernimmt der Schauspieler Liev Schreiber. Dabei spielt er einen Fixer, der f\u00c3\u00bcr die Anwaltskanzlei Goldman &amp; Drexler, welche die Sch\u00c3\u00b6nen und Reichen vertritt, arbeitet. Doch Ray wird von seinen eigenen Problemen bald eingeholt, als sein Vater, Mickey Donovan (Jon Voight) unerwartet aus dem Gef\u00c3\u00a4ngnis entlassen wird und das FBI nun versucht ihn und seine Partner zum Fall zu bringen. Staffel 3 des Seriendramas, konnte f\u00c3\u00bcnf Emmy-Nominierungen f\u00c3\u00bcr 2016 einkassieren. Liev Schreiber wurde als bester Hauptdarsteller und Jon Voight als bester Nebendarsteller nominiert. Zudem bekam auch Hank Azaria als bester Gastdarsteller eine Nominierung. Aber auch R. Russell Smith, Harrison Marsh und Robert Edmondson wurden f\u00c3\u00bcr den besten Sound-Mix nominiert. Schlussendlich erzielte auch Showrunner David Holander seine erste Emmy-Nominierung als bester Direktor f\u00c3\u00bcr eine Dramaserie.
