Beide Investoren waren seit 13 Jahren an GameDuell beteiligt und haben ihre Anteile nun an das Unternehmen verkauft. Gef\u00c3\u00bchrt wird GameDuell auch jetzt noch von seinen Gr\u00c3\u00bcndern. Sowohl die Gr\u00c3\u00bcnder Kai Bolik, Michael Kalkowski und Boris Wasmuth als auch der 2008 mit 11 Millionen Euro eingestiegene Investor Wellington bleiben weiterhin an GameDuell beteiligt. Wie viel GameDuell f\u00c3\u00bcr den R\u00c3\u00bcckkauf der Anteile bezahlte, ist derzeit nicht bekannt. GameDuell musste Anfang des Jahres rund 25 Prozent seiner 215 Mitarbeiter entlassen und ein internes Studio schlie\u00c3\u0178en.
