August ist der zweite Teil von Staffel 2 der Serie Fear The Walking Dead auf AMC gestartet und in Deutschland werden die neuen Folgen der Serie \u00c3\u00bcber Amazon Prime immer nur einen Tag nach US-Start gezeigt. Auch eine dritte Staffel vom The Walking Dead Spin-Off wurde bereits best\u00c3\u00a4tigt; ein offizielles Startdatum zur dritten Staffel, die aus 16 Episoden bestehen wird, steht hingegen noch nicht fest. Es kann jedoch angenommen werden, dass die neue Staffel der AMC-Serie, wie die vorherige, im April im Programm landen wird. AMC verfolgt bei den meisten Serien einen Jahresrhythmus und es kann angenommen werden, dass der Sender wohl auch diesmal seiner Linie treu bleiben wird. Auch in Deutschland wird die 3. Staffel voraussichtlich kurz nach US-Start auf Amazon Prime ausgestrahlt werden. Durch die gesteigerte Anzahl der Episoden (Staffel 1 &#8211; 6, Staffel 2 &#8211; 15 und Staffel 3 &#8211; 16) kann zudem angenommen werden, dass Staffel 3 ebenfalls, wie Staffel 2, in zwei Teilen gezeigt werden wird. Bei Fear The Walking Dead setzt die Geschichte einige Wochen vor der Mutterserie in Los Angeles an. Doch ist Fear The Walking Dead kein Prequel sondern eher eine eigenst\u00c3\u00a4ndige Geschichte die parallel zum Original passiert. Das Zombie-Virus ist noch nicht komplett ausgebrochen und es gibt nur wenige Angriffe der Untoten.
