Auf 10.000 m\u00c2\u00b2 pr\u00c3\u00a4sentierten rund 70 Aussteller und Partner mit Spieleneuheiten von Blockbustern bis Combined- und Indie-Games alles was das Gamer-Herz begehrt. Allein die wienXtra Kinderzone konnte wieder \u00c3\u00bcber 7.800 junge BesucherInnen erfreuen und auch die Fachtagung F.R.O.G. stellte mit dem Thema \u00e2\u20ac\u017ebeyond gameplay\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 einen H\u00c3\u00b6hepunkt der Veranstaltung dar. Besonderes Highlight der Jubil\u00c3\u00a4ums-GAME CITY war die Lange Nacht der Game City mit Red Bull, bei der GamerInnen die Freitagnacht zum Tag machten. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eF\u00c3\u00bcr uns ist es eine besondere Freude zu sehen, wie sich die Veranstaltung nach zehn Jahren entwickelt hat. Es war uns wichtig, mit unseren Ausstellern und Partnern ein w\u00c3\u00bcrdiges Jubil\u00c3\u00a4umsfest f\u00c3\u00bcr unsere Besucherinnen und Besucher auszurichten und wir m\u00c3\u00b6chten uns daher besonders f\u00c3\u00bcr den neuerlichen Besucherrekord bedanken. Ein besonderes Dankesch\u00c3\u00b6n an die Fans war die voll ausgebuchte Lange Nacht der Game City mit Partner Red Bull, die ebenfalls sehr gut angenommen wurde\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, so der stellvertretende Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsf\u00c3\u00bchrer von wienXtra Veranstalter Paul Pitzer. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eWir k\u00c3\u00b6nnen es kaum erwarten, die historischen R\u00c3\u00a4umlichkeiten des Rathauses im kommenden Jahr wieder zu einem Highlight f\u00c3\u00bcr alle GamerInnen zu machen und hoffentlich noch viele Jubil\u00c3\u00a4en zu feiern.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 BesucherInnen jeden Alters konnten drei Tage lang aktuelle PC- und Konsolen-Spiele von unter anderem PlayStation, Ubisoft, Nintendo, 2K Take Two und Wargaming antesten \u00e2\u20ac\u201c viele davon feierten im Rathaus ihre \u00c3\u2013sterreich-Premiere. St\u00c3\u00a4rkster Trend war wie erwartet Virtual Reality, das sich bei allen Entwicklern \u00c3\u00bcber gro\u00c3\u0178en Andrang freute. Neben den gro\u00c3\u0178en Entwicklern fanden in der Indie Game Area by FM4 zum zweiten Mal auch kleine Entwickler eine Plattform f\u00c3\u00bcr ihre Spiele. Bis in die letzten Minuten der Game City war der Andrang beim Eingang in der Felderstra\u00c3\u0178e gro\u00c3\u0178.
