Am 7. April wurden kostenlose Line Bot API-Accounts ausgegeben, die jedem erlauben Chatsbots f\u00c3\u00bcr Line zu entwickeln. Bis heute wurden so etwa 20.000 Line Chatbots von freien Entwicklern programmiert. Um die Entwicklung von Chatbots noch weiter voranzutreiben und ihren Mehrwert in der \u00c3\u2013ffentlichkeit bekannter zu machen, hat das Unternehmen auf dem Line Developer Day 2016 ein Programm vorgestellt, mit dem die Weiterentwicklung von Chatbots weiter gef\u00c3\u00b6rdert werden soll. Die neue Messaging API f\u00c3\u00bchrt drei neue Nachrichten-Typen ein: 1.) Ein neuer \u00e2\u20ac\u017eBest\u00c3\u00a4tigungs-Modus\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 erlaubt nun einfache \u00e2\u20ac\u017eJa\u00e2\u20ac\u0153- und \u00e2\u20ac\u017eNein\u00e2\u20ac\u0153-Antworten; 2.) Ein Button, der Bilder-, Text- und andere Buttons verbindet; 3.) Eine \u00e2\u20ac\u017eKarussell-Funktion\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, die horizontales Scrollen durch Inhalte erm\u00c3\u00b6glicht. Diese neuen Funktionen, mit denen Chatbots Nachrichten versenden, erm\u00c3\u00b6glichen Unternehmen, \u00c3\u00bcber Line eigene Services und Inhalte anzubieten und reibungslos mit ihren Kunden zu interagieren. In der Zukunft m\u00c3\u00b6chte Line diese Art von Messenger-Typen weiter ausbauen und um neue Typen erg\u00c3\u00a4nzen. Im Vergleich zu der Line Bot API, die im April ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlicht wurde, ist die neue Messaging API, laut dem Entwickler, klarer aufgebaut und einfacher zu bedienen. Dar\u00c3\u00bcber hinaus wurde die API-Dokumentation verbessert. Line hat au\u00c3\u0178erdem ein offizielles SDK ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlicht, das f\u00c3\u00bcnf Programmiersprachen unterst\u00c3\u00bctzt (Java, Go, Ruby, PHP und Perl 5) und das Entwickeln von Chatbots erheblich erleichtert. Um den Mehrwert anzuerkennen, den Chatbot-Accounts f\u00c3\u00bcr die Nutzer von Line kreieren, hat die Line Corporation die Line Bot Awards ins Leben gerufen. Damit m\u00c3\u00b6chte das Unternehmen Entwickler motivieren, neue Services f\u00c3\u00bcr die Line App aufzubauen. Jeder Privat-Entwickler und jedes Unternehmen darf an dem Wettbewerb teilnehmen und hat die Chance auf 100.000 US Dollar und andere Gewinne.
