Auf Anfrage von Newsslash wurde dies von InnoGames jedoch immer dementiert. Wie es in der Branche doch meist bei Ger\u00c3\u00bcchten ist, so ist doch etwas an ihnen dran. Der in Schweden ans\u00c3\u00a4ssige Entertainment-Konzern MTG hat nun f\u00c3\u00bcr 91 Millionen Euro 35 Prozent an InnoGames erworben und h\u00c3\u00a4lt gleichzeitig die Option f\u00c3\u00bcr eine Bewertung von 260 Millionen Euro seine Anteile auf 51 Prozent zu erh\u00c3\u00b6hen. Im Jahr 2013 haben Eike Klindworth, Hendrik Klindworth und Michael Zillmer mit Die St\u00c3\u00a4mme als Hobby-Projekt ein Browsergame auf den Markt gebracht und in den darauf folgenden Jahren einen der erfolgreichsten Spiele-Entwickler in Deutschland aufgebaut. Mittlerweile verzeichnet das Unternehmen mehr als 150 Millionen registrierte Nutzer und einen Umsatz von mehr als 100 Millionen Euro. Im laufenden Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsjahr plant InnoGames einen Umsatz von 125 Millionen Euro zu erzielen. InnoGames-CEO Hendrik Klindworth \u00c3\u00bcber den Deal und Hamburg: &#8220;Der Games-Standort Hamburg ist eines der weltweit aktivsten und dichtesten Gaming Cluster. Ein Baustein dieses Erfolgs ist sicherlich die Initiative \u00e2\u20ac\u017egamecity:Hamburg\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 als das gr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178te regionale Netzwerk der Games-Branche in Deutschland, mit dem wir schon seit vielen Jahren erfolgreich zusammenarbeiten.
