In der im Februar 2017 auf CBS All Access kommenden Serie wird Leslie die Rolle von Maia \u00c3\u00bcbernehmen. Maia ist die Patentochter von Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) und hat gerade ihre Anwaltspr\u00c3\u00bcfung bestanden. Als junge Anw\u00c3\u00a4ltin tritt sie der Anwaltskanzlei ihrer Patentante bei. Die Serie beginnt ein Jahr nach dem Ende von The Good Wife und Maia muss als Opfer eines finanziellen Betrugs mit den Folgen dessen klar kommen. Auch Diane wurde Opfern von diesem Vorfall und verlor ihre Ersparnisse. Achtung Spoiler: Sie musste dadurch sogar die von ihr gegr\u00c3\u00bcndete Kanzlei Lockhart &amp; Lee verlassen. Doch Diane und Maia lassen sich dadurch nicht unterkriegen und schlie\u00c3\u0178en sich mit Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo) zusammen, indem sie einer der renommierten Anwaltskanzleien in Chicago beitreten. Aber auch Fanliebling Sarah Steele, welche die Rolle von Marissa Gold, Tochter von Eli Gold, in The Good Wife \u00c3\u00bcbernahm, geh\u00c3\u00b6rt ebenfalls zum Hauptcast des Spin-Offs dazu.
