Zudem ist jetzt auch ein Startdatum f\u00c3\u00bcr Staffel 2 bekannt gegeben worden. Demnach erscheint die zweite Staffel in den USA am 2. Januar 2017. In Deutschland wird die 2. Staffel Shadowhunters voraussichtlich kurz nach US-Ausstrahlung \u00c3\u00bcber den Video-on-Demand-Dienst Netflix verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar sein. Die Serie Shadowhunters basiert auf der Buchreihe von Cassandra Clare und erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt die Geschichte der Teenagerin Clarissa \u00e2\u20ac\u017eClary\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Fray (Katherine McNamara). Am 18. Geburtstag wird Clarys Leben komplett auf den Kopf gestellt. Nicht nur ihre Mutter wird entf\u00c3\u00bchrt, sondern sie erf\u00c3\u00a4hrt auch, dass sie den Shadowhunters angeh\u00c3\u00b6rt. Shadowhunter sind Wesen, die halb Mensch und halb Engel sind und gegen das B\u00c3\u00b6se k\u00c3\u00a4mpfen. Auf der Suche nach ihrer Mutter schlie\u00c3\u0178t sich Clary der Shadowhunters Gruppe um Jace Wayland (Dominic Sherwood) an. Aber nicht nur Clarissa muss mit ihrem neuen Leben zurechtkommen, auch ihr bester Freund Simon Lewis (Alberto Rosende) wird in die Welt voller Werw\u00c3\u00b6lfe, Hexenmeister, Shadowhunters, Vampire und Feen hineingezogen.
