In einer kurzen Mitteilung gab das Unternehmen bekannt, nun 24 Prozent der Anteile an Ubisoft zu besitzen. Vivendi h\u00c3\u00a4lt damit 21,2 Prozent der Stimmrechte an dem franz\u00c3\u00b6sischen Spieleunternehmen und erreichte mit den neuerlichen Zuk\u00c3\u00a4ufen die gesetzliche Meldeschwelle. Die Ger\u00c3\u00bcchte einer feindlichen \u00c3\u0153bernahme von Ubisoft durch den franz\u00c3\u00b6sischen Medienkonzern Vivendi werden dadurch nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich wieder neu befeuert. Ubisoft-Chef Guillemont erkl\u00c3\u00a4rte in der Vergangenheit mehrfach, dass seine Firma seine Unabh\u00c3\u00a4ngigkeit bewahren will, um weiter flexibel und schlagkr\u00c3\u00a4ftig im Spielegesch\u00c3\u00a4ft agieren zu k\u00c3\u00b6nnen. Die weiteren Aufk\u00c3\u00a4ufe durch Vivendi sprechen nicht unbedingt f\u00c3\u00bcr die Unabh\u00c3\u00a4ngigkeit. Vivendi ist ein franz\u00c3\u00b6sischer Medienkonzern, der Unternehmen von der Talententdeckung bis hin zur Produktion und Vertrieb von medialen Inhalten betreibt. Beispiele f\u00c3\u00bcr Tochtergesellschaften sind die Canal+ Group und Universal Music. Canal+ Ist der f\u00c3\u00bchrende Pay-TV-Betreiber in Frankreich und hat weitere M\u00c3\u00a4rkte in Polen, Afrika und Vietnam. Desweiteren ist ein Unternehmen von Canal+ Studiokanal, federf\u00c3\u00bchrend in Europa im Verkauf und Vertrieb von Film- und Serienproduktionen.
