Mit dem Zuschlag f\u00c3\u00bcr das Original Label von Electronic Arts, bekommt das ambitionierte Herzensprojekt einen wichtigen Anschub. Auf der offiziellen Website von Electronic Arts gibt Patrick S\u00c3\u00b6derlund, Executive Vice President bei EA, einen Einblick in die Gr\u00c3\u00bcnde der Entscheidung f\u00c3\u00bcr Sea of Solitude: &#8220;Die intensive Bildsprache und die emotionale Perspektive auf die Welt der Hauptfigur Kay beeindruckten mich zutiefst. In seiner ungeschliffenen Sch\u00c3\u00b6nheit ist Sea of Solitude anders als alles, was ich bisher gespielt habe.&#8221; Im Spiel geht der Spieler mit der Protagonistin Kay auf eine Reise in einem Boot, auf der Suche nach der L\u00c3\u00b6sung f\u00c3\u00bcr ihre Krankheit, eine Krankheit, die nicht nur Kay betrifft. Sie hat sich in eine Monster verwandelt und m\u00c3\u00b6chte auf ihrer abenteuerlichen Reise, die zumeist auf dem Wasser stattfindet, herausfinden, warum und wie das geschehen konnte.
