Nachdem Kevin Can Wait, welches man sich hierzulande auf Amazon Instant Video ansehen kann, schon im Oktober 2016 weitere Episoden spendiert bekam, werden nun noch einmal zwei Episoden nachgeschoben. Somit kommt die Serie mit Kevin James in der Hauptrolle und dauerhaft mehr als 10 Millionen Zuschauern auf 24 Episoden und ist damit eine vollwertige fertige Staffel 1. CBS stockte aber auch die beiden eher durch durchwachsene Zuschauerzahlen gekennzeichneten Formate Man with a Plan mit Matt LeBlanc und The Great Indoors mit Joel McHale auf 22 Episoden auf. Zwischenzeitlich wurden beide Serien schon einmal auf je 18 Folgen aufgestockt. Mit im Schnitt 7,4 und 8,8 Millionen Zuschauern (Zahlen beinhalten DVR-Zuschauer und VoD-Abrufe) liegen beide Sitcoms etwas hinter Kevin Can Wait. Am Prinzip der Comedyserien mit \u00c3\u00a4lteren wei\u00c3\u0178en Herren in den Hauptrollen, die so ihre Probleme haben, h\u00c3\u00a4lt CBS, zumindest vorerst, also noch fest.
