Staffel erh\u00c3\u00a4lt. In Deutschland wird die Serie exklusiv von Amazon Prime Video ausgestrahlt. Alle neuen Folgen der dritten Staffel erscheinen auf Amazon Prime im Wochenrhythmus, nur wenige Tage nach US-Ausstrahlung. In The Affair werden die Auswirkungen einer Aff\u00c3\u00a4re zwischen den beiden verheirateten Hauptpersonen Noah Solloway (Dominic West) und Alison Lockhart (Ruth Wilson) auf deren Ehen behandelt. Interessant dabei ist die Erz\u00c3\u00a4hlweise der Serie, welche hintereinander die gleiche Situation aus der jeweils m\u00c3\u00a4nnlichen und weiblichen Perspektive darstellt. In der zweiten Staffel wird diese Erz\u00c3\u00a4hlweise sogar noch st\u00c3\u00a4rker ausgeweitet, indem auch die Erz\u00c3\u00a4hlstr\u00c3\u00a4nge der betrogenen Ehepartner dazukommen. Au\u00c3\u0178er West und Wilson stehen zudem auch noch Maura Tierney und Joshua Jackson vor der Kamera. Kreiert wurde die Drama Serie von Sarah Treem und Hagai Levi.
