Auf eine Beschwerde des B\u00c3\u00b6rsenvereins des Deutschen Buchhandels hatten das Bundeskartellamt und die Europ\u00c3\u00a4ische Kommission eine langj\u00c3\u00a4hrige Vereinbarung zwischen den Unternehmen im Bereich H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bccher aufgegriffen. Im Zentrum der Pr\u00c3\u00bcfung standen Vertragsklauseln \u00c3\u00bcber den exklusiven Bezug von digitalen H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bcchern f\u00c3\u00bcr den Download-Shop iTunes-Store durch Apple von Audible und \u00c3\u00bcber die Nichtbelieferung anderer digitaler Musikplattformen als iTunes durch Audible. Daraufhin haben die Unternehmen diese Klauseln mit Wirkung ab Januar 2017 aufgegeben. Andreas Mundt, Pr\u00c3\u00a4sident des Bundeskartellamtes: \u00e2\u20ac\u017eDie Exklusivvereinbarung betraf die Absatzm\u00c3\u00b6glichkeiten von H\u00c3\u00b6rbuchverlagen, denen insbesondere im Bereich digitaler H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bccher kaum alternative Absatzm\u00c3\u00b6glichkeiten neben Audible zur Verf\u00c3\u00bcgung standen. Audible und Apple haben bei dem digitalen Angebot von H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bcchern in Deutschland eine starke Position. Durch die Streichung der Exklusivvereinbarung kann Apple nunmehr andere Bezugsquellen f\u00c3\u00bcr digitale H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bccher nutzen. Eine gr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178ere Angebotsvielfalt und niedrigere Preise f\u00c3\u00bcr die Verbraucher werden erm\u00c3\u00b6glicht. Nach eigenen intensiven Ermittlungen und im Rahmen einer engen Kooperation mit der Europ\u00c3\u00a4ischen Kommission konnte das Bundeskartellamt dieses Verfahren ohne f\u00c3\u00b6rmliche Entscheidung abschlie\u00c3\u0178en.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Audible ist ein f\u00c3\u00bchrender Anbieter von H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bcchern zum Download in Deutschland, die sowohl \u00c3\u00bcber Audible.de als auch \u00c3\u00bcber die Amazon-Handelsplattform abrufbar sind. Dar\u00c3\u00bcber hinaus z\u00c3\u00a4hlt Audible zu den gr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178ten Produzenten von H\u00c3\u00b6rb\u00c3\u00bcchern in Deutschland und Europa.
