Das neue Netzwerk soll dabei vor allem Kinder unter 13 Jahren ansprechen und ihnen die M\u00c3\u00b6glichkeit geben, mit gleichgesinnten in Kontakt zu treten. Lego Life bietet Kindern die Chance ihre Lego-Kreationen in Form eines Bildes mit andern Kindern zu teilen und Meisterwerke anderer zu begutachten. Das neue Soziale Netzwerk ist als App konzipiert und kann sowohl als Android- als auch iOS-Version im jeweiligen App-Store heruntergeladen werden. Um Lego Life besonders Kindergerecht und vor allem sicher zu machen, hat das Lego Team gemeinsam mit UNICEF und FTC zusammengearbeitet. Deshalb k\u00c3\u00b6nnen Kids keine echten Namen im Netzwerk verwenden. Bei der Anmeldung werden automatisch mehrere Namen generiert, aus denen Kinder einen Namen aussuchen d\u00c3\u00bcrfen. Nach der Anmeldung in der App und dem aussuchen eines Namens k\u00c3\u00b6nnen Kids im Anschluss einen Avatar erstellen, der an Stelle eines Fotos dient. Denn aufgrund der Schutzregelungen d\u00c3\u00bcrfen keine Fotos von Menschen auf der Plattform online gestellt werden. Der Avatar kann sp\u00c3\u00a4ter ge\u00c3\u00a4ndert werden. Au\u00c3\u0178erdem ist es m\u00c3\u00b6glich den Avatar auf andere Lego Apps bei Wunsch zu \u00c3\u00bcbertragen. In der App k\u00c3\u00b6nnen Kinder ihren Lieblings-Lego-Charakteren und anderen Nutzern folgen. W\u00c3\u00a4hrend bei Inhalten, die von Lego selbst erstellt wurden Kommentare erlaubt sind, k\u00c3\u00b6nnen Kids bei anderen Nutzern nur mit Emojis und Stickern kommentieren. Dies liegt vor allem daran, dass Kinder negative Kommentare sich mehr zu Herzen nehmen k\u00c3\u00b6nnten, sagte Senior Director f\u00c3\u00bcr Lego Life Rob Lowe in einem Interview. Das Netzwerk bietet zudem die M\u00c3\u00b6glichkeit an verschiedenen Wettbewerben in der App teilzunehmen.
