Sie wird Castlevania hei\u00c3\u0178en und wer jetzt denkt, das kenn ich doch aus der Videospielecke, ist genau auf der richtigen Spur. Die neue Serie, deren erste Staffel noch in diesem Jahr ausgestrahlt werden soll, basiert auf der Videospielserie Castlevania aus dem Hause Konami. Eine zweite Staffel ist auch best\u00c3\u00a4tigt und soll im Jahr 2018 folgen. 1986 nahm die Spieleserie mit Castlevania III: Dracula&#8217;s Curse ihren Anfang und endete vorerst im Jahr 2014 mit \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Lords of Shadow- Mirror of Fate HD\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. Die Animationsserie auf Netflix soll in der Zeit von Draculas Curse spielen und somit das originale dunkle und mittelalterliche Fantasy-Feeling der ersten Castlevania-Teile aufnehmen. Viel \u00c3\u00bcber die Story ist noch nicht bekannt, aber auf jeden Fall wird das letzte \u00c3\u00bcberlebende Mitglied des Belmont-Clans versuchen, Osteuropa vor dem Aussterben zu retten. Denn Vlad Dracula Tepe pers\u00c3\u00b6nlich treibt sein Unwesen und blutet den Landstrich aus. Adi Shankar hat den Start der Animations-Serie \u00c3\u00bcber Facebook bekannt gegeben und erkl\u00c3\u00a4rt, dass die Pechstr\u00c3\u00a4hne bei der Produktion von Videospieladaptionen f\u00c3\u00bcr die Leinw\u00c3\u00a4nde mit Castlevania vorbei sei. Ob dieses Versprechen wirklich aufgeht, wird sich zeigen. Gro\u00c3\u0178e Namen der Branche hat er sich auf jeden Fall ins Boot geholt. Geschrieben hat die Story der pr\u00c3\u00a4mierte Comic-Autor Warren Ellis und als weiterer Produzent tritt Kevin Kolbe, bekannt als federf\u00c3\u00bchrender Produzent f\u00c3\u00bcr die ber\u00c3\u00bchmte Cartoon-Network-Serie Adventure Time. Wir sind gespannt, wie sich die erste Staffel, bestehend aus vier Episoden mit je 30 Minuten L\u00c3\u00a4nge, in einer Mischung aus Game-of-Thrones-Stimmung und Castlevania-Original-Erwachsenen-Feeling, pr\u00c3\u00a4sentieren wird.
