Oktober letzten Jahres ein Bild machen. Seitdem ist die britische Comedyserie Chewing Gum auf Netflix zu sehen. Die erste Staffel rund um Tracey Gordon (Michaela Coel) feierte ihre Erstausstrahlung jedoch schon am 13. Oktober 2015 auf E4. Kurz nach der Ausstrahlung der ersten Staffel wurde eine weitere Staffel bestellt. Sie lief sogar bereits im britischen Fernsehen. Wann Chewing Gum Staffel 2 auf Netflix zu sehen ist, wurde von dem VoD-Anbieter noch nicht bekannt gegeben. Wir gehen davon aus, dass sie erst im Herbst auf Netflix erscheinen wird, vielleicht sogar wieder ab Oktober. Die Ideen zur Serie stammen von Michaela Coel, die, wie oben genannt, die Hauptrolle der Sitcom inne hat. Die Sitcom dreht sich ausschlie\u00c3\u0178lich um das Leben der streng religi\u00c3\u00b6sen Tracey, die bislang ganz zufrieden mit ihrem Leben im Londoner Vorort Tower Hamlets ist. Doch dann bemerkt die junge Frau, dass sie noch einiges nachzuholen hat. Ganz weit oben auf ihrer neuen To-Do-Liste steht Sex haben. Als gro\u00c3\u0178er Beyonc\u00c3\u00a9-Fan imitiert sie ihr Vorbild um ihren jungfr\u00c3\u00a4ulichen Freund Ronald (John MacMillan) zu verf\u00c3\u00bchren. Was sie zu diesem Zeitpunkt noch nicht wei\u00c3\u0178: Ronald ist eigentlich schwul. Kurz darauf l\u00c3\u00a4sst sie sich auf Connor (Robert Lonsdale) ein. Traceys naive Art spiegelt sich auch im weiteren Verlauf immer wieder in ihren Ideen wieder. Wie w\u00c3\u00a4re es denn zum Beispiel mit gebrauchtem Sexspielzeug? Tracey glaubt, der Verkauf von gebrauchten Dildos w\u00c3\u00a4re die beste Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsidee ever. Doch zum Gl\u00c3\u00bcck kommt sie von dieser Idee wieder ab, unter anderen auch wegen dem Rat ihrer neuen Besten Freundin, Connors Mutter. Die Story der Sitcom basiert auf dem Theaterst\u00c3\u00bcck \u00e2\u20ac\u017eChewing Gum Dreams\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, welches ebenfalls von Michaela Coel geschrieben wurde und 2012 Premiere feierte. Sie gewann zudem den British Academy Television Award f\u00c3\u00bcr die beste weibliche Comedy-Performance.
