Es wurde bekannt, dass das junge Unternehmen ein IPO von ca. 30 Millionen Euro vorbereitet. Next Games ist vor allem bekannt f\u00c3\u00bcr das Mobile-Spiel \u00e2\u20ac\u0153The Walking Dead: No Man\u00c2\u00b4s Land\u00e2\u20ac\u009d, welches im Oktober 2015 herausgebracht wurde und mittlerweile \u00c3\u00bcber 16 Millionen Downloads verzeichnet. CEO Teemu Huuhtanen sagte, dass sich der Umsatz des Unternehmens im vergangenen Jahr auf rund 31 Millionen Euro verdreifacht hat und Next Games seit einem halben Jahr profitable arbeitet. Next Games soll nun weiter wachsen und sich entwickeln und der Schritt der Listung auf dem Nasdaq North Finland, einem Markt f\u00c3\u00bcr Wachstumsunternehmen, ist ein Schritt in diese Richtung. &#8220;Es gibt operative Vorteile in einem IPO &#8230; Es st\u00c3\u00a4rkt Anerkennung und Markenbekanntheit, die bei der Rekrutierung sowie bei der Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftst\u00c3\u00a4tigkeit mit gro\u00c3\u0178en Entertainment-Unternehmen hilft&#8221;, sagte Huuhtanen. Bisher hat Next Games etwa $18 Millionen von Investoren, darunter U.S. Venture Fund IDG Ventures, Start-up Investor Jari Ovaskainen, Filmstudio Lionsgate und Kabel-TV-Unternehmen AMC Networks erhalten. Next Games wurde 2013 von erfahrenen Hasen der Spielebranche, die Gr\u00c3\u00bcnder kamen von Rovio und Supercell, aus dem Boden gehoben und konzentriert sich vor allem auf mobile Spiele im Bereich Unterhaltungs-Franchise. Anfang 2014 konnten sich Next Games die exklusiven Rechte sichern, ein Spiel auf Grundlage der US-TV-Serie The Walking Dead zu entwickeln, welches sehr erfolgreich wurde. Ein zweites Spiel, welches im M\u00c3\u00a4rz 2015 das Licht der Welt erblickte, ist Compass Point: West. Auch in der Zukunft liegt das Hauptaugenmerk der jungen Firma auf Kooperationen mit der Unterhaltungswelt.
