Obwohl die Macher sich positiv zu zwei weiteren Staffeln ausgesprochen haben, war es noch nicht sicher, ob es tats\u00c3\u00a4chlich dazu kommt. Vor allem wohl auch deshalb, weil die Schauspieler mehr Geld verlangten. Doch nun ist es offiziell! Es wird ganz sicher zwei weiter Staffeln der chaotischen Truppe rund um den theoretischen Physiker Sheldon Cooper (Jim Parsons) und den hochbegabten Leonard Hofstadter (Johnny Galecki) geben. Somit d\u00c3\u00bcrfen sich Fans der Serie bis mindesten Staffel 12 freuen. Aber selbst dies soll noch nicht bedeuten, dass Staffel 12 die letzte sein wird. Medienberichten zu folge haben die Hauptdarsteller Parsons, Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Kunal Nayyar und Simon Helberg alle einen Zweijahresvertrag mit CBS Entertainment und Warner Bros. Television unterschrieben. Lediglich die Vertr\u00c3\u00a4ge von Co-Schauspierinnen Mayim Bialik und Melissa Rauch, die in der Serie l\u00c3\u00a4ngst nicht mehr die Rolle von Nebendarstellern einnehmen sondern fester Bestandteil der Serie sind, stehen noch aus. Beide Schauspielinnen stehen in Verhandlungen um eine deutliche Gehaltserh\u00c3\u00b6hung zu erzielen. Der Gehaltscheck ihrer Co-Stars bel\u00c3\u00a4uft sich mittlerweile bei einer Million US-Dollar pro Folge. Sollten die Verhandlungen positiv f\u00c3\u00bcr die beiden Frauen ausgehen, k\u00c3\u00b6nnten sie k\u00c3\u00bcnftig 500.000 Dollar pro Folge kassieren. In den USA befindet sich The Big Bang Theory momentan in der Mitte der 10. Staffel. Aber auch in Deutschland wird Staffel 10 seit dem 2. Januar jeden Montag um 20:15 beim Privatsender ProSieben ausgestrahlt. Wie bereits bekannt ist soll zu Sheldon eine eigene Serie entstehen.
