Doch ein Startdatum f\u00c3\u00bcr die kommende Staffel ist bislang noch nicht vom amerikanischen Sender AMC bekannt gegeben worden. Wie allerdings nun bekannt wurde, verl\u00c3\u00a4sst Showrunner Dave Erickson, der die Zombie-Serie gemeinsam mit The Walking Dead Sch\u00c3\u00b6pfer Robert Kirkman kreierte, das Drama nach Staffel 3. Wer seine Nachfolge antritt und ob es \u00c3\u00bcberhaupt eine weitere Staffel der Serie geben wird ist noch unklar. Wie AMC jedoch angek\u00c3\u00bcndigt hat, soll Dave Erickson dem Sender auch weiterhin treu bleiben und unterschrieb einen Mehrjahresvertrag mit AMC.
