August 2016 online. Allerdings erst mit 6 Episoden, da die erste Staffel in zwei Teile aufgeteilt wurde. Seit dem 7. April dieses Jahres ist nun auch der zweite Teil per Streaming verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar. Mit gesch\u00c3\u00a4tzten 120 Millionen US-Doller f\u00c3\u00bcr Staffel 1 ist die Drama-Musical-Serie die bislang teuerste Eigenproduktion des VoD-Anbieters. Wann kommt The Get Down Staffel 2 auf Netflix? Ob und wann es eine zweite Staffel von The Get Down geben wird ist noch nicht bekannt. Bislang wurde keine zweite Staffel der kultigen Serie bestellt. Sollte dies jedoch bald der Fall sein, erscheint Staffel 2 voraussichtlich erst Ende 2017 Anfang 2018. Die Serie ist eine Mischung aus Drama- und Musicalserie und spielt im Jahre 1977. Der junge und talentierte Ezekiel \u00e2\u20ac\u017eZeke\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Figuero (Justice Smith) lebt, wie die meisten seiner Freunde, im heruntergekommenen South Bronx, wo Gewalt und Kriminalit\u00c3\u00a4t an der Tagesordnung stehen. Sie haben alle denselben Traum: Sie wollen mit neuen Beats die Musikwelt erobern und der Armut, in der sie aufgewachsen sind, entfliehen. Eigentlich wollte Zeke an jenem Abend nur ein M\u00c3\u00a4dchen beeindrucken. Nun ist er fest davon \u00c3\u00bcberzeugt, dass er mit Hip Hop genug Geld verdienen und Geschichte schreiben kann. Dabei sucht er sich Hilfe bei einem gefallenen Musikproduzenten, der auch Mylenes (Herizen F. Guardiola) Musiktr\u00c3\u00a4ume unterst\u00c3\u00bctzen m\u00c3\u00b6chte. Doch ist er wirklich der richtige Mann f\u00c3\u00bcr ihre Ziele? Zudem bekommt die Clique \u00c3\u201erger wegen einem gestohlenen Promotape und Zeke steht vor einer politischen Achterbahnfahrt. Shameik Moore, T. J. Brown Jr., Skylan Brooks und Yahya Abdul-Mateen II geh\u00c3\u00b6ren ebenfalls zum Cast von The Get Down. Die Serie bekam bereits nach Teil 1 der ersten Staffel eine \u00c3\u00bcberwiegend gute Bewertung. Auf Rotten Tomatoes wurde sie mit 74 % von den Kritikern bewertet, w\u00c3\u00a4hrend sie auf Metacritic lediglich einen Metascore von 69 von 100 erreichte. Da ist noch Luft nach oben.
