Okja feiert morgen seine Weltpremiere bei den 70. Filmfestspielen in Cannes. Zudem wird Okja ab dem 28. Juni weltweit bei Netflix verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar sein. Regisseur Bong, der vision\u00c3\u00a4re Filmemacher und Geschichtenerz\u00c3\u00a4hler, konnte ein herausragendes internationales Darsteller-Ensemble f\u00c3\u00bcr seinen Film gewinnen. Mit dabei sind Tilda Swinton, Paul Dano, Byun Heebong, Steven Yeun, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, Jake Gyllenhaal sowie Newcomerin An Seo Hyun als \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Mija\u00e2\u20ac\u009d. In den Bergen S\u00c3\u00bcd-Koreas k\u00c3\u00bcmmert sich die junge Mija zehn friedliche Jahre lang um ihre beste Freundin Okja \u00e2\u20ac\u201c ein riesiges aber sanftm\u00c3\u00bctiges Tier. Doch ihre idyllische Welt wird pl\u00c3\u00b6tzlich ersch\u00c3\u00bcttert, als der familiengef\u00c3\u00bchrte Gro\u00c3\u0178konzern Mirando unter der Leitung der selbstverliebten Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsf\u00c3\u00bchrerin Lucy Mirando (Tilda Swinton) Mijas geliebte Freundin nach New York entf\u00c3\u00bchrt, um das Wesen f\u00c3\u00bcr ihre kapitalistischen Zwecke einzuspannen.
