Waren es zu Beginn noch Browsergames wie Battlestar Galactica und Fast and Furios, so zogen MobileGames wie Kim Kardashian: Hollywood schnell nach. Vor allem der Erfolg von Kim Kardashian: Hollywood, welches von Glu Mobile entwickelt wurde, r\u00c3\u00bcttelte einige in der Szene auf und so verwunderte es kaum, dass kurze Zeit sp\u00c3\u00a4ter auch Titel mit Katy Perry, Taylor Swift und Britney Spears das Licht der Welt erblickten. Doch nicht nur an der direkten Namensgebung sind Stars immer wieder beteiligt; auch in TV-Spots f\u00c3\u00bcr Spiele sind sie zu finden. Bekannt ist hierbei sicherlich das MobileGame Game of War: Fire Age, welches zu Beginn mit Kate Upton und sp\u00c3\u00a4ter Mariah Carey erfolgreich geworben hat. F\u00c3\u00bcr Mobile Strike konnte hingegen Arnold Schwarzenegger und f\u00c3\u00bcr einen Titel von Plarium auch Megan Fox verpflichtet werden. Es verwundert daher eigentlich kaum, dass Stars und bekannte Marken so auch im wachsenden Markt der Slots und Social Casino-Spiele Einzug hielten. Glu Mobile hatte sich so zum Beispiel relativ schnell nach dem Erfolg von Kim Kardashian: Hollywood dazu entschieden, auch einen Slot Titel mit ihrem Namen auf den Markt zu bringen. Aber auch Zynga, bekannt eigentlich durch Spiele wie FarmVille und Mafia Wars, hat die Branche f\u00c3\u00bcr sich erkannt und mit Film-Marken wie Der Zauberer von Oz als auch Charlie und die Schokoladenfabrik f\u00c3\u00bcr ordentlich Aufmerksamkeit im Slot-Bereich gesorgt. Traditionelle Slot-Hersteller wie Merkur und Novomatic hatten in der Vergangenheit stark auf die Schaffung eigener Marken gesetzt, welche sich mittlerweile auch an einer gro\u00c3\u0178en Bekanntheit erfreuen. Andere Anbieter wie zum Beispiel NetEnt haben das Potenzial bekannter Marken erkannt und so auf verschiedenste Brands wie Guns and Roses, Jimi Hendrix und Mot\u00c3\u00b6rhead gesetzt. Mittlerweile gibt es gef\u00c3\u00bchlt zu fast jeder bekannten Marke auch einen Slot-Titel. Sei es Game of Thrones, The Osbornes, Hellboy, Robin Hood oder Juressic Park. Sie alle haben es mittlerweile in Slot-Maschinen geschafft und werden gespielt.
