Einer dieser Nachfolger ist The Last Kingdom dessen Erfolg sich zwar nicht in Viralit\u00c3\u00a4t seines Vorbilds aufwiegen l\u00c3\u00a4sst, jedoch auf beeindruckende 92% bei Rotten Tomatoes kommt. Seit dem 29. Mai ist die Serie nun schon in der zweiten Staffel verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar und Netflix wie BBC Fans verlangen eine Antwort auf die Frage: <b>Wann kommt The Last Kingdom Staffel 3 auf Netflix?<\/b> Wer nun die Show schon durchgesehen hat und sich ein wenig mit der Netflix\u00e2\u20ac\u2122schen Kommunikationspolitik auskennt, der wird wenig \u00c3\u00bcberrascht sein, dass der Streaming-Anbieter noch keine weiteren Details zur Fortsetzung bekannt gab. Auch um die Cast-Besetzung einer m\u00c3\u00b6glichen 3 Staffel wird bisher noch geschwiegen, doch sollten erste Details bereits in wenigen Tagen\/ Wochen verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar sein. <ins data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3647021458695789\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-ad-slot=\"7996975644\" style=\"display:block\"><\/ins> Sieht man sich die Release-Daten der vorherigen beiden Staffeln an, so wird klar, dass sich Netflix ein wenig mehr Zeit lie\u00c3\u0178. Ob die Zeitspanne von gut 18 Monaten noch auf 12 gek\u00c3\u00bcrzt wird ist zwar unwahrscheinlich, beim Qualit\u00c3\u00a4tsniveau der Serie jedoch recht gut m\u00c3\u00b6glich. Wir vermuten, dass die Macher sich zun\u00c3\u00a4chst einmal ganz genau die Quoten der zweiten Staffel ansehen werden bevor \u00c3\u00bcber eine Dritte Urteil gef\u00c3\u00a4llt wird. Update am 06.04.2018: Netflix hat eine Staffel 3 best\u00c3\u00a4tigt. Auch wenn Netflix und BBC nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich noch nichts zum Plot einer dritten Staffel bekannt gaben, so l\u00c3\u00a4sst sich bereits einiges aus vorangegangenem Material ableiten. Zun\u00c3\u00a4chst einmal w\u00c3\u00a4re da die Geschichte, denn The Last Kingdom behandelt die Invasion der D\u00c3\u00a4nen auf den britischen Inseln. Protagonist und Publikumsmagnet Uhtred of Bebbanburg ist tats\u00c3\u00a4chlich ein erdachter Charakter, doch findet auch er seine Wurzeln in den Geschichtsb\u00c3\u00bcchern als Uhtred the Bold und Uhtred of Derbyshire. Ob der Serienheld in Staffel 3 ganz den Vorbildern getreu, den K\u00c3\u00b6nig verr\u00c3\u00a4t, Armeen befehligt und Verhandlungen mit dem Adel f\u00c3\u00bchrt ist noch Netflixs Ideenbox \u00c3\u00bcberlassen. Dass die Macher der Serie nicht ganz ihrer Fantasie freien Lauf lassen sondern sich \u00c3 la Song of Ice and Fire ebenfalls an ihrer Buchvorlage Saxon Stories von Bernard Cornwell orientieren, kommt dem Machwerk nur zugute. 4 B\u00c3\u00bccher wurden in den ersten zwei Staffeln bereits verpackt und sechs weitere gibt es. Grund genug noch ein paar Staffeln dran zu h\u00c3\u00a4ngen, zumindest solange die Quote stimmt.
