August) zus\u00c3\u00a4tzlich die Halle 1 des K\u00c3\u00b6lner Messegel\u00c3\u00a4ndes. Insgesamt umfasst die gamescom 2017 damit eine Bruttofl\u00c3\u00a4che von 201.000 Quadratmetern, was einem Plus von 4 Prozent entspricht. Die Halle 1 wird Teil der business area und exklusiv durch Electronic Arts belegt. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eDie zus\u00c3\u00a4tzliche Belegung der Halle 1 und damit die Erweiterung der business area unterstreicht abermals die Bedeutung der gamescom als f\u00c3\u00bchrende europ\u00c3\u00a4ische Businessplattform der Gaming-Branche\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, sagt Tim Endres, Director gamescom. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eF\u00c3\u00bcr uns ist die Nachfrage nach gr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178eren und zus\u00c3\u00a4tzlichen Ausstellungsfl\u00c3\u00a4chen in der business area ein klares Signal, dass die gamescom der europ\u00c3\u00a4ische Pflichttermin der Branche ist.\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Durch die Erweiterung der business area um die Halle 1 und dem damit verbundenen Umzug von Electronic Arts aus der Halle 4.1 werden in diesem Bereich wieder Ausstellungsfl\u00c3\u00a4chen frei. Dadurch kann die Koelnmesse sowohl der Nachfrage nach Standvergr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178erungen bestehender business area-Aussteller als auch Neuausstellern gerecht werden. Erstmals in der business area vertreten werden sein u.a. die Gruppe der ASOCIACI\u00c3\u201cN PERUANA DE DESARROLLADOR (Peru), der BRAZILIAN GAME DEVELOPERS (Brasilien) sowie die Gruppe RGDA ROMANIAN GAME (Rum\u00c3\u00a4nien).
