Juli startete die erste Staffel der d\u00c3\u00bcsteren Animationsserie Castlevania, eine Adaption der bekannten Videospiel-Serie. Showrunner Adi Shankar k\u00c3\u00bcndigte sie als besonders dunkel und satirisch an. Sie soll dem Subgenre der Vampirserien eins \u00c3\u00bcber den Sch\u00c3\u00a4del geben <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lightsteelblue-llama-768814.hostingersite.comn\/n\/9291-castlevania-netflix-zeigt-ersten-eindruck-der-duesteren-videospiel-adaption\" target=\"_blank\">(Newsslash berichtete).<\/a> Ob dies nun so der Fall ist und uns eine blutr\u00c3\u00bcnstige Horror-Serie im Anime-Stil erwartet, k\u00c3\u00b6nnt ihr euch auf Netflix gern selbst anschauen und euch ein Bild machen. Sicher ist, dass die nur 4 Episoden mit je 23 Minuten lange Serie eine Fortsetzung bekommen wird. Kaum gestartet, wurde die 2. Staffel best\u00c3\u00a4tigt. Sie wird 8 Folgen umfassen. Viel Arbeit f\u00c3\u00bcr Adi Shankar, ist er doch gerade zum Showrunner f\u00c3\u00bcr eine weitere Verarbeitung des Stoffes eines Videospiels, Assassin\u00c2\u00b4s Creed, verpflichtet worden. In Castlevania begibt sich das letzte \u00c3\u00bcberlebende Mitglied der Familie Belmont, Trevor, auf die Jagd nach Vlad Dracula Tepe, von dem die osteurop\u00c3\u00a4ische Welt endlich befreit werden soll. Die Pause zwischen den ersten vier und den folgenden acht Folgen wird allerdings auch ein bisschen l\u00c3\u00a4nger sein. Erst im Jahr 2018 soll die zweite Staffel auf Netflix anlaufen.
