Nach US-B\u00c3\u00b6rsenschluss hatte Disney bekanntgegeben, ab 2019 keine neuen Ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichungen mehr an Netflix weiterzugeben. Disney m\u00c3\u00b6chte daf\u00c3\u00bcr zus\u00c3\u00a4tzliche Anteile des Streamingdienstes BAMTech \u00c3\u00bcbernehmen und seine Eigenproduktionen au\u00c3\u0178erdem unter einer eigenen Marke als Abomodell anbieten. Das Programm von ESPN, Disneys Sportsender, soll bereits im n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Jahr im Internet zur Verf\u00c3\u00bcgung stehen. Im Jahr 2019 soll dann der Streamingservice f\u00c3\u00bcr s\u00c3\u00a4mtliche Disney-Filme und Serien folgen. In den USA sollen die Produktionen dann vorerst auch nur auf genau diesem Streamingdienst abrufbar sein. Disneys Entscheidung k\u00c3\u00b6nnte in Hinsicht auf den Wandel der amerikanischen Fernsehlandschaft ein entscheidender Faktor sein. Bislang war es \u00c3\u00bcblich, dass Sender wie ESPN \u00c3\u00bcber Satelliten- und Kabelvertr\u00c3\u00a4gliche zug\u00c3\u00a4nglich gemacht wurde. Da allerdings zunehmend mehr Inhalte \u00c3\u00bcber beispielsweise Amazon oder Netflix zug\u00c3\u00a4nglich sind, ist die Zahl teurer TV-Abos r\u00c3\u00bcckl\u00c3\u00a4ufig.
