Insgesamt kamen \u00c3\u00bcber 3.000 Besucher, die 140 Sessions auf 10 B\u00c3\u00bchnen mit 200 Speakern verfolgen konnten. Rund 350 Journalisten aus aller Welt unterstrichen die erfolgreiche internationale Ausrichtung der devcom. Eine Fortsetzung im kommenden Jahr wurde bereits best\u00c3\u00a4tigt. 2018 wird die devcom vom 19. bis 23. August stattfinden. Das gaben heute die Veranstalter Aruba Events und die Partner BIU, der Verband der deutschen Games-Branche, und Koelnmesse gemeinsam bekannt. Aruba-Events-Gr\u00c3\u00bcnder Stephan Reichart und Projektleiter Frank Sliwka konnten f\u00c3\u00bcr die Premiere des offiziellen Game-Developer-Event der gamescom hochklassige Speaker wie Richard Garriott (Portalarium), Brendan Greene (Bluehole), Hendrik Klindworth (Innogames), Tetsuya Mizuguchi (Enhance Games), Craig Morrison (Blizzard), Dean Takahashi (Venturebeat) oder Tim Sweeney (Epic Games) gewinnen. Hierdurch erhielten die devcom-Besucher nicht nur einen einzigartigen Einblick in die Welt der Spieleentwicklung, sondern auch einen Ausblick auf die Zukunft der Games-Industrie.
