Death Note, so der Name der Neuverfilmung von Adam Wingard, ruft derweil geteilte Meinungen von Kritikern und Publikum hervor. Der Regisseur ist trotzdem guter Hoffnung, dass es nach dem ersten Teil, der Grundlage der Geschichte, noch weitergehen wird. Urspr\u00c3\u00bcnglich hatte Wingard eine Geschichte f\u00c3\u00bcr zwei bis drei Filme vorgeschlagen. Es war klar, dass der erste eine Origin-Geschichte werden wird, sagte er gegen\u00c3\u00bcber einem Hollywoodreporter. Der Film ist aber trotzdem recht geschlossen geplant. Wingard wei\u00c3\u0178, dass Fortsetzungen nicht einfach so vom Himmel fallen, sondern man sie sich verdienen muss. Trotzdem vertrat das Team hinter Death Note, Netflix gegen\u00c3\u00bcber selbstbewusst die Meinung, dass mindestens zwei Filme entstehen m\u00c3\u00bcssten. Ob dies Realit\u00c3\u00a4t werden wird, werden wohl die Zuschauerzahlen entscheiden. Nach dem ersten Film ist alles offen. Die Geschichte kann sich in alle m\u00c3\u00b6glichen Richtungen entwickeln. Teil 1 zeigt die Herkunft der Hauptfigur und im Prinzip dreht sich die ganze Serie um die Figur Light Yagami, deren verh\u00c3\u00a4ngnisvolle Geschichte aus der Feder des Japaners Tsugumi \u00c5\u0152ba. Nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich hat das Team um Wingard schon eine etwas genauere Vorstellung davon, wie der zweite und sicher auch, wie der dritte Film sich in seiner Story entwickeln soll und sind bereit f\u00c3\u00bcr eine Fortsetzung.
