Die achtteilige Serie wird von IMG weltweit exklusiv f\u00c3\u00bcr Netflix produziert. Damien Chazelle ist Ausf\u00c3\u00bchrender Produzent und wird bei zwei Episoden der Serie Regie f\u00c3\u00bchren. Das Drehbuch stammt vom f\u00c3\u00bcnfmaligen BAFTA-Gewinner Jack Thorne (This Is England, National Treasure). The Eddy ist ein Musical-Drama, das in Frankreich in englischer, franz\u00c3\u00b6sischer und arabischer Sprache gedreht wird. Der mit dem Emmy ausgezeichnete Alan Poul (Six Feet Under, The Newsroom) verst\u00c3\u00a4rkt das Team als Ausf\u00c3\u00bchrender Produzent. Die Musik stammt vom sechsmaligen Grammy-Gewinner Glen Ballard (Jagged Little Pill von Alanis Morissette, Bad von Michael Jackson). Neben The Crown und der ab Herbst verf\u00c3\u00bcgbaren deutschen Netflix-Serie Dark ist The Eddy ein weiteres Projekt, mit dem der weltgr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178te Streaminganbieter sein Portfolio aufw\u00c3\u00a4ndig produzierter europ\u00c3\u00a4ischer Produktionen erweitert. <b>\u00c3\u0153ber The Eddy<\/b> Die Musical-Dramaserie The Eddy spielt im zeitgen\u00c3\u00b6ssischen, multikulturellen Paris und handelt von einem Club, dessen Besitzer, der Hausband und der chaotischen Stadt, die sie umgibt. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eIch habe immer davon getr\u00c3\u00a4umt, in Paris zu drehen, weswegen ich mich unfassbar auf die Zusammenarbeit mit Jack, Glen und Alan an dieser Story freue. Und daran, dass wir mit Netflix ein Zuhause f\u00c3\u00bcr unser Projekt gefunden haben\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, so Chazelle.
