The Last Tycoon bekam vor kurzem die Chance auch in Serienformat seinen intelligent gesponnenen Plot transportieren zu k\u00c3\u00b6nnen. Unter Regie der beiden Alternativ-Produzenten Christopher Keyser (Party of Five) und Joshua D. Maurer (Tour of Duty) und mit gleichnamiger Buchvorlage F. Scott Fitzgerald&#8217;s (The Great Gatsby) wurde The Last Tycoon am 28. Juli 2017 erstmals in der Originalfassung gezeigt. W\u00c3\u00a4hrend die deutsche Synchronversion seit dem 15. September auch bei uns zur Verf\u00c3\u00bcgung steht, fragen schon die ersten Fans: Wann kommt The Last Tycoon Staffel 2 auf Amazon Prime Video? W\u00c3\u00a4hrend es zun\u00c3\u00a4chst gar nicht schlecht aussah f\u00c3\u00bcr die nicht ganz billige Serie, so fanden die Pl\u00c3\u00a4ne f\u00c3\u00bcr eine zweite Staffel letzte Woche ein j\u00c3\u00a4hes Ende als The Hollywood Reporter von der Absetzung des Dramas berichtete. The last Tycoon war nicht die einzige leidtragende Serienproduktion die auf Fortf\u00c3\u00bchrung durch andere Hand hoffen muss. Auch das Historiendrama: Z: The Beginning of Everything (ebenfalls von Fitzgerald) mit Christina Ricci erf\u00c3\u00a4hrt keine Fortsetzung, da die Zuschauerzahlen recht d\u00c3\u00bcrftig ausfielen dem Retail-Giganten die investierten 7 Millionen US Dollar am Ende doch zu viel waren. So, wie es auch Newsweek, Good Girls Revolt und Mad Dogs erging, k\u00c3\u00b6nnte es Amazon auch in Zukunft mit weiteren Serien halten, immer auf der Suche nach dem One-Hit-Wonder. Ob es f\u00c3\u00bcr The Last Tycoon in Zukunft durch andere Streaming Anbieter nochmals eine Fortf\u00c3\u00bchrung geben wird bleibt ungewiss. Denn neben dem finanziellen Aspekt muss auch die Rezeption mitwirken und da konnte der Serienneuling trotz Buch- und Filmvorlage nur 53 % Prozentpunkte auf Rotten Tomatoes einheimsen.
