Die sechste Staffel von American Horror Story ist ab sofort auf Netflix im Stream verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar. Markantestes Kennzeichen der Serie ist und bleibt ihre Anthologie. Die erste Staffel startete am 5. Oktober 2011 auf dem amerikanischen Sender FX mit dem Titel \u00e2\u20ac\u017eMurder House \u00e2\u20ac\u201c Die dunkle Seite in dir\u00e2\u20ac\u0153. Im deutschsprachigen Raum wurde sie seit 2013 von sixx ausgestrahlt, bevor Netflix sie ins Programm aufnahm. Sechs Jahre nach der Erstausstrahlung ist nun auch Staffel 6 auf Netflix online. Es w\u00c3\u00a4re demnach m\u00c3\u00b6glich, dass American Horror Story Staffel 7 im November n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Jahres auf der VoD-Plattform zu streamen sein wird. Offiziell wurde dies von Netflix jedoch noch nicht best\u00c3\u00a4tigt. Die Idee zur Serie hatten Ryan Murphy und Brad Falchuk gemeinsam. Wie bereits erw\u00c3\u00a4hnt, handelt es sich bei American Horror Story um eine Anthologie, bei der jede Staffel eine abgeschlossene Handlung wiedergibt. Staffel 1 erz\u00c3\u00a4hlt die Geschichte der jungen Familie Harmon, die in Los Angeles einen Neustart wagen und in ein altes Haus ziehen. Was sie nicht wissen: Der Tod lauert im Haus auf sie. Vor vielen Jahren lebte dort ein Arzt, der illegale Abtreibungen im Keller vornahm, um seine Drogensucht zu finanzieren. Der Albtraum begann jedoch erst, als der Freund einer seiner Patientinnen das Kind des Arztes ermordete. In einer fiktiven Dokumentation wird das Leben von Matt (Andr\u00c3\u00a9 Holland) und Shelby (Lily Rabe) nacherz\u00c3\u00a4hlt. Sie sind von Los Angeles auf die Roanoke Islands gezogen, wo sie und ihre Angeh\u00c3\u00b6rigen nicht lange leben sollten. Auch Jahre nach ihrem Tod zieht es Fans der Dokumentation auf die Insel. Schon nach kurzer Zeit sind sie Besessen vom Geist und es zeigt sich, dass der Ort nach wie vor ein Schauplatz der Grausamkeit ist. In Staffel 7 k\u00c3\u00b6nnen sich die Fans der amerikanischen Gruselserie auf bekannte Schauspieler wie Evan Peters freuen, der bereits in der ersten Staffel als Tate zu sehen war. Des Weiteren werden Alison Pill und Billie Lourd zu sehen sein. Dabei wird es vor allem um die Pr\u00c3\u00a4sidentschaftswahl 2017 gehen.
