Schon in den letzten Monaten gab es immer wieder Ger\u00c3\u00bcchte, dass es entgegen der UpFronts im Mai doch noch eine Fortsetzung geben soll. Nun best\u00c3\u00a4tigte der Chef des Senders FOX, dass sich eine sechste Staffel in einer fr\u00c3\u00bchen Entwicklungsphase befindet. Wer alles zum Cast der n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Geschichten in der Knast-Serie Prison Break geh\u00c3\u00b6ren wird, ist noch nicht offiziell bekannt gegeben worden. Aber es sollen nicht nur neue Schauspieler mit von der Partie sein, sondern auch alte Cast-Mitglieder wieder mitspielen. Laut Showrunner Vaun Wilmot suche man derzeit noch nach der richtigen Storyline f\u00c3\u00bcr die R\u00c3\u00bcckkehr der Gang. Sobald diese steht, werden dann wohl auch die Dreharbeiten so langsam ihren Anfang finden. In Prison Break dreht sich alles um Michael, dessen Bruder in der Todeszelle sitzt. Ihm wird vorgeworfen, dass er den Bruder der amerikanischen Vize-Pr\u00c3\u00a4sidentin ermordet hat. Michaels Bruder Lincoln allerdings behauptet steif und fest, dass er unschuldig ist, obwohl eine \u00c3\u0153berwachungskamera den Mord aufgezeichnet hat. Lincoln habe den Toten nur gefunden, nicht selbst ermordet &#8211; auch wenn er dies urspr\u00c3\u00bcnglich vor hatte. 5 Staffeln der Serie sind schon gelaufen, doch nicht mit dem erhofften Erfolg. Die Quoten entsprachen nicht den Erwartungen. So w\u00c3\u00a4re es nicht erstaunlich gewesen, wenn doch nach der f\u00c3\u00bcnften Staffel Schluss gewesen w\u00c3\u00a4re.
