Ihren Start feiert die Serie auf dem amerikanischen Sender The CW am 16. Januar. Aber auch deutsche Fans der Comicfigur m\u00c3\u00bcssen nicht lange auf einen Auftritt warten. Denn der Streaming-Dienst Netflix konnte sich die Rechte an der Ausstrahlung sicheren und zeigt die erste Black Lightning Episode nur eine Woche sp\u00c3\u00a4ter am 23. Januar auf seiner Plattform. Danach erscheint w\u00c3\u00b6chentlich eine weitere Folge der Superhelden-Serie. Wie Marvel\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Luke Cage, so ist auch DC\u00e2\u20ac\u2122s Black Lightning ein afroamerikanischer Superheld. Nach einer Superhelden-Pause nimmt Black Lightning (Cress Williams) oder auch als Jefferson Pierce bekannt, wieder den Kampf gegen das B\u00c3\u00b6se in seinem Viertel auf. Denn wie man sich sicherlich denken kann, so sollte man sich nicht mit der Familie eines Superhelden, der sich im Ruhestand befindet, anlegen. Dies k\u00c3\u00b6nnte durchaus b\u00c3\u00b6se enden. Black Lightning befindet sich im gleichen Superheldenuniversum wie Arrow und The Flash. Aber ob die drei Superhelden auch irgendwann aufeinander treffen werden, ist noch ungewiss. Eine spannende Mischung w\u00c3\u00bcrden die drei aber sicherlich abgeben. Zu Williams, der die Hauptrolle \u00c3\u00bcbernimmt, stehen zudem noch China Anne McClain als j\u00c3\u00bcngere Tochter Jennifer, Nafessa Williams als \u00c3\u00a4ltere Tochter Anissa und Christine Adams als Jeffersons Ex-Frau Lynn vor der Kamera.
