Eine Eigenproduktion erscheint nach der anderen. Seit dem 1. Februar dieses Jahres ist auf der VoD-Plattform die erste Staffel der Western-Serie Damnation zu sehen, die in Zeiten der Weltwirtschaftskrise spielt und das Leben der hart arbeitenden Farmer zeigt. Doch der scheinbar neue Priester stellt ihr bis dahin gr\u00c3\u00b6\u00c3\u0178tenteils ruhiges Leben auf den Kopf und es dauert nicht lange, bis die Situation eskaliert. Da stellt sich die Frage: Wann kommt Damnation Staffel 2 auf Netflix? <ins data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3647021458695789\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-ad-slot=\"7996975644\" style=\"display:block\"><\/ins> Wann und vor allem ob es eine zweite Staffel von Damnation gibt, hat der VoD-Anbieter noch nicht verraten. Ein Grund k\u00c3\u00b6nnte sein, dass die erste Staffel Damnation erst vor Kurzem erschien und Netflix sich in der Regel mit solchen Entscheidungen ein paar Wochen Zeit l\u00c3\u00a4sst. Sollte eine zweite Staffel bestellt werden, k\u00c3\u00b6nnte sie voraussichtlich im Februar n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Jahres auf der Streaming-Plattform erscheinen. Die Idee zur Serie hatte \u00c3\u00bcbrigens Tony Tost. <b>Update:<\/b> Damnation wurde nach Staffel 1 eingestellt. Eine zweite Staffel wird es nicht geben. Damnation spielt w\u00c3\u00a4hrend der Weltwirtschaftskrise in der Kleinstadt Holden im l\u00c3\u00a4ndlichen Iowa. Seit einiger Zeit weigern sich die Farmer der Stadt ihre Produkte auf den Markt zu bringen, da die B\u00c3\u00a4nker sie zu Niedrigpreisen zwingen und die Farmer kaum noch von ihrem Verdienst leben k\u00c3\u00b6nnen. Dabei verfolgen die B\u00c3\u00a4nker nur ein Ziel: Das Land der Farmer zu gewinnen. Dies soll sich \u00c3\u00a4ndern, als ein zwiesp\u00c3\u00a4ltiger Priester Seth Davenport (Killian Scott) in die Kleinstadt kommt und die Kirchenreden in Aufstandsparolen verwandelt. Aber er nagelt nicht nur Thesen an den Pfahl. <iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube-nocookie.com\/embed\/n7yW7h0YkPI\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe> Angefeuert durch den neuen Pfarrer starten die Farmer einen Streik gegen die Obrigkeit, was schon bald zur Eskalation f\u00c3\u00bchrt, denn die B\u00c3\u00a4nker heuern niemand geringeren als den professionellen Streikbrecher Creeley Turner (Logan Marshall-Green) an, um den Streik im Keim zu ersticken. Das Feuer ist er\u00c3\u00b6ffnet, doch schon bald zeigt sich, dass Seth und Creeley eine blutige Vergangenheit verbindet.
