Diesmal scheint es also tats\u00c3\u00a4chlich eine Neuauflage der Comedyserie zu geben. Als Produzenten werden Amy Rardin und Jessica O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Toole fungieren, das Duo wurde vor allem durch die Dramedyserie &#8220;Jane the Virgin&#8221; bekannt. Au\u00c3\u0178erdem werden Brad Silbering, Ben Silverman und Jennie Urman an der Produktion beteiligt sein. Das Reboot soll sich um drei Verbindungsschwestern drehen, die in einer kleinen Collegestadt leben. Dort wird ihnen auch bewusst, dass sie keine normalen M\u00c3\u00a4dchen, sondern Hexen sind und \u00c3\u00bcber magische F\u00c3\u00a4higkeiten verf\u00c3\u00bcgen. Zus\u00c3\u00a4tzlich zu den \u00c3\u00bcblichen Herausforderungen des Alltags m\u00c3\u00bcssen sie nun auch noch gegen D\u00c3\u00a4monen und das Patriarchat vorgehen. Eigentlich h\u00c3\u00a4tte es vor knapp einem Jahr schon einmal ein Reboot von Charmed geben sollen. Hierf\u00c3\u00bcr waren ebenfalls Rardin und O\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Toole verantwortlich. Allerdings wurde nicht einmal eine Pilotepisode f\u00c3\u00bcr die geplante Neuauflage, die in den 1970er-Jahren h\u00c3\u00a4tte spielen sollen, ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlicht.
