Die Verfilmung geschah unter Regie von Yasuto Nishikata f\u00c3\u00bcr das Produktionsstudio Lindenfilms. W\u00c3\u00a4hrend die Originalfassung in Japan bereits am 12. Januar 2018 seine Premiere feierte, ist die erste Staffel des Animes nur 4 Tage sp\u00c3\u00a4ter, am 16. Januar 2018, auf Amazon im Prime Abo erschienen. Dennoch besteht die Chance auf eine weitere Staffel rund um die blutigen K\u00c3\u00a4mpfe in Biestgestalt. Schlie\u00c3\u0178lich handelt es sich bei Killing Bites um eine ganze Manga-Reihe, die verfilmt werden k\u00c3\u00b6nnte. Sollte es eine zweite Staffel geben, k\u00c3\u00b6nnte sie voraussichtlich im Januar 2019 auf der VoD-Plattform erscheinen. Eigentlich fing alles ganz harmlos an: Der mittelm\u00c3\u00a4\u00c3\u0178ige Student Yuya trifft eines Tages auf ein mysteri\u00c3\u00b6ses M\u00c3\u00a4dchen namens Hitomi, das in die st\u00c3\u00a4dtische High-School geht. Was er nicht ahnt ist, dass er sich schon bald auf einem alten Schrottplatz inmitten menschlicher Monster wiederfindet. Eigentlich hatte er seinen Freunden nur versprochen, sie herumzufahren und M\u00c3\u00a4dchen in der Stadt einzusammeln. Als Honigdachs gilt Hitomi als eines der furchtlosesten Tiere in ihrer Welt und sie ist dazu bestimmt bei Yuya zu bleiben, zu seinem Schutz, denn in ihrer Welt warten noch viele andere gruselige und brutale Gestalten.
