Man schickt ihn in K\u00c3\u00a4mpfe mit anderen Bots, r\u00c3\u00bcstet ihn daf\u00c3\u00bcr auf dem Schrottplatz auf und schickt seine Blechb\u00c3\u00bcchse auf Missionen im Habitat. Im Spielverlauf skillt man den Bot \u00c3\u00bcber Attribute und macht ihn so zu einer m\u00c3\u00a4chtigen Kampfmaschine. Was gar nicht so schlecht klingt, zog aber nicht genug Spieler an, um das Spiel kostendeckend auf dem Markt zu halten. So ziehen die Entwickler nun vorerst die Rei\u00c3\u0178leine und legen die kleinen Bots auf Eis. Ab M\u00c3\u00a4rz hat es sich, zumindest f\u00c3\u00bcr den Augenblick, ausgerobotet. Die Server werden auf Eis gelegt und das junge Studio, dessen Kopf ein erfahrener alter Hase ist, sucht nach neuen Finanzierungsm\u00c3\u00b6glichkeiten, sprich neue Investoren, um den Betrieb von RoboManiac eventuell doch wieder aufnehmen zu k\u00c3\u00b6nnen. Derzeit spricht man mit mehreren potentiellen Partnern und Investoren und versucht einen Weg zu finden, wie das Browsergame doch wieder fortgef\u00c3\u00bchrt werden kann, denn viele Jahre Arbeit stecken ihn ihm und jede menge Herzblut und Liebe. Mit der Brainweb Investment GmbH und der pecunalta GmbH gewann das Team hinter Frank Lukaschewski, einer der Gr\u00c3\u00bcnder des legend\u00c3\u00a4ren OnlineFu\u00c3\u0178ballManagers, vor etwas \u00c3\u00bcber einem Jahr zwei Partner, mit deren Hilfe die internationale Positionierung des Spiels gelingen sollte. Dass das Spiel jetzt doch aus Kostengr\u00c3\u00bcnden erst einmal abgeschaltet wird, kommt etwas \u00c3\u00bcberraschend, denn erst im Dezember 2017 gab YEPS! bekannt, mit PlayLink SA den Titel in Polen auf den Markt zu bringen. Ob sich nun weitere Investoren finden und die Entwicklung an RoboManiac fortgesetzt wird, wird sich zeigen.
