In der Serie werden die Auswirkungen von Technologie und Medien auf die Gesellschaft thematisiert und uns vor Augen gef\u00c3\u00bchrt. Jeder gro\u00c3\u0178e Anbieter, vor allem die VoD-Dienste, lechzen nach einer solchen Mega-Serie. Amazon hat sein Black Mirror wohl nun gefunden. Die neue Sci-Fi-Serie mit spannenden Crime-Elementen wird The Feed hei\u00c3\u0178en und von einem Star unter den Produzenten aufgelegt werden. The Walking Dead-Guru Channing Powell h\u00c3\u00b6chstpers\u00c3\u00b6nlich wurde als Produzent f\u00c3\u00bcr die neue Serie verpflichtet. Schon eine Weile will Amazon unbedingt seine eigene Dystopie haben, nun hat das Unternehmen sich eine in London bestellt. Sie wird zwar nicht am n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Tag mit Prime geliefert, aber verspricht hochklassig zu werden. Powell soll den Roman The Feed von Nick Clark Windo, daher der Name f\u00c3\u00bcr die Serie, auf die Leinwand bringen. Die britische Leinwand wird hier der VoD-Dienst Liberty Global sein. The Feed wird genauso wie Black Mirror in einer Welt angesiedelt sein, die technologisch einen Schritt \u00c3\u00bcber das Ziel hinausgeschossen ist. Gef\u00c3\u00bchle und Gedanken werden nicht mehr in unserem Kopf und vor allem Herzen verarbeitet, sondern \u00c3\u00bcber den Feed hochgeladen. Durch den Feed ist alles und jeder irgendwie miteinander verbunden. Privatheit gibt es praktisch nicht. Individuelle Gef\u00c3\u00bchle und Gedanken &#8211; irgendwie auch nicht. Eines Tages bricht eben dieser Feed zusammen. Das, was die moderne Gesellschaft zusammenh\u00c3\u00a4lt ist weg und die Menschen wissen nicht, wie sie sich benehmen sollen. Sie verfallen in Barbarentum, k\u00c3\u00a4mpfen jeder f\u00c3\u00bcr sich nur noch ums nackte \u00c3\u0153berleben. Auch der Erfinder des Feeds ist vor den Auswirkungen nicht gefeit. Er rettet seine Familie und bringt sie in Sicherheit, aber seine Tochter Bea ist verschwunden. Provokant, herausfordernd und unterhaltend, so bezeichnet Brad Beale von der weltweiten TV Acquisition von Amazon die The Feed.
