Die Drama-Serie basiert dabei auf dem gleichnamigen australischen Film aus dem Jahr 2010 von David Mich\u00c3\u00b4d. Das Drehbuch zur Serie stammt von Jonathan Lisco und transportiert die Handlung des Films in die USA. Die erste Staffel Animal Kingdom feierte auf TNT bereits am 14. Juni 2016 Premiere. Mittlerweile startete auch die deutschsprachige Version der zweiten Staffel auf TNT Serie. Aber wie geht es nach der zweiten Staffel weiter und wann startet Animal Kingdom Staffel 3 auf Sky? Gute Nachrichten! Der amerikanische Sender TNT hat bereits im letzten Jahr eine 3. Staffel der Serie bestellt. Diese soll dort am 29. Mai auf Sendung gehen. Wann Animel Kingdom Staffel 3 auf Sky erscheint ist hingegen noch nicht bekannt. Wir vermuten allerdings, dass die kommende Staffel sp\u00c3\u00a4testens im n\u00c3\u00a4chsten Fr\u00c3\u00bchjahr beim Sender TNT zu sehen sein und somit auch auf Sky. Es ist also noch lange nicht Schluss mit dem kriminellen Lebenswandel des 17-j\u00c3\u00a4hrigen Joshua (Finn Code). <ins data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-3647021458695789\" data-ad-format=\"link\" data-ad-slot=\"7996975644\" style=\"display:block\"><\/ins> Nach dem Tod seiner Mutter an einer \u00c3\u0153berdosis Drogen muss der 17-j\u00c3\u00a4hrige Joshua zu seiner entfremdeten und kriminellen Familie ziehen, die ihn mit in den Abgrund zieht. Auf ihn wartet n\u00c3\u00a4mlich keine f\u00c3\u00bcrsorgliche Oma oder Tante, sondern die Matriarchin Janine \u00e2\u20ac\u017eSmurf\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Cody (Ellen Barkin), die ihre S\u00c3\u00b6hne als Handlanger benutzt und von Drogen, Gewalt und allem Illegalen lebt, was ihr und ihrer Familie eine Menge Geld einbringt. Der schlimmste von allen ist ihr \u00c3\u00a4ltester Sohn Andrew \u00e2\u20ac\u017ePope\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 (Shawn Hatosy), der von fast allen gef\u00c3\u00bcrchtet wird. Seine Br\u00c3\u00bcder Craig (Ben Robson) und Nesth\u00c3\u00a4kchen Deran (Jake Weary) helfen ihm bei seinen kriminellen Aktivit\u00c3\u00a4ten \u00e2\u20ac\u201c egal ob beim Drogenschmuggel oder bei der Geldw\u00c3\u00a4sche. Das Trio ist \u00c3\u00bcberall. Ein weiterer Handlanger der Familie ist Barry \u00e2\u20ac\u017eBaz\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 Brown (Scott Speedman), der mittlerweile zur Familie geh\u00c3\u00b6rt. Auch wenn wir noch nicht wissen, wann Animal Kingdom Staffel 3 auf Sky kommt, so gibt es bereits jetzt schon News zum Cast der neuen Staffel. Scott Speedman wird die Serie verlassen und damit wird ein Platz innerhalb der Familie frei. Dieser wird von Denis Leary eingenommen. Leary ist unter anderem bekannt aus der Serie \u00e2\u20ac\u017eRescue Me\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 und wird in Animal Kingdom Staffel 3 als Billy zu sehen sein. Billy ist Derans Landstreichervater, der einst von Smurf aus dem Haus geworfen wurde.
