Die neue Serie, deren 1. Staffel aus zehn Episoden bestehen soll, wird Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists hei\u00c3\u0178en und soll im kommenden Jahr an den Start gehen. Vor einem Jahr war Pretty Little Liars nach sieben Staffeln eingestellt worden. F\u00c3\u00bcr das Spin-off, das wie schon das Original auf einem Roman von Sara Shepard basiert, ist bereits ein Trailer erschienen, diesen findet ihr unter dieser News. Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists wird in der scheinbar perfekten Stadt Beacon Heights spielen. Doch pl\u00c3\u00b6tzlich wird die Stadt von einem Mord ersch\u00c3\u00bcttert \u00e2\u20ac\u201c jeder \u00e2\u20ac\u017ePerfektionist\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 versucht sich hinter einem Alibi, einer L\u00c3\u00bcge und einem Geheimnis zu verstecken. Mona Vanderwaal (Janel Parrish) und Alison DiLaurenti (Sasha Pieterse), die bereits aus Pretty Little Liars bekannt sind, werden auch im Spin-off dabei sein. Als weitere Hauptdarsteller wurden Hayley Erin, Sofia Carson, Sydney Park, Kelly Rutherford und Eli Brown verpflichtet. Das Spin-off wird von Alloy Entertainment und Long Lake Media in Kooperation mit Warner Horizon Scripted Television produziert. Marlene King ist f\u00c3\u00bcr das Drehbuch der Pilotfolge verantwortlich und wird gemeinsam mit Charlie Craig, Lisa Cochran-Neilan, Leslie Morgenstein und Gina Girolamo als Executive Producer fungieren.
