Die folgenden Staffeln von Homeland spielen an verschiedenen Orten weltweit. Die Handlung von Staffel 4 setzt in Kabul ein, Carrie ist dort an einem Drohnenprogramm beteiligt, das gegen die Terroristen in Afghanistan gerichtet ist. Staffel 5 spielt in Berlin &#8211; Carrie f\u00c3\u00a4llt fast einem Mordanschlag zum Opfer und muss dann einen Terroranschlag in der Hauptstadt verhindern. Die aktuelle Staffel greift die B\u00c3\u00bcrgerrechte von Minderheiten in den USA auf und thematisiert au\u00c3\u0178erdem die Verschw\u00c3\u00b6rung gegen die neue Pr\u00c3\u00a4sidentin.
