So verwundert es nicht, dass Netflix eine zweite Staffel der Thrillerserie bestellt hat. Noch in diesem Jahr sollen die Dreharbeiten beginnen, so dass die zweite Season im Jahr 2019 an den Start gehen kann. The Rain ist eine d\u00c3\u00a4nische Thriller-Serie, in der eine Gruppe junger \u00c3\u0153berlebender einer biologischen Katastrophe, bei der durch einen Virus nahezu ganz Skandinavien dahingerafft wurde. Die Gruppe junger Leute, der sich zwei Geschwister anschlie\u00c3\u0178en, herausfinden m\u00c3\u00b6chte, ob es in anderen Teilen Skandinaviens, auch noch \u00c3\u0153berlebende gibt, die eine neue Gesellschaft aufbauen. Ganz ohne die Zw\u00c3\u00a4nge der bisherigen zivilisierten Gesellschaft entdecken sie dabei, wie schwer es ist, frei zu sein und dazu noch mit den ganzen Problemen, die das Erwachsenwerden mit sich bringt, konfrontiert zu werden. Das Geschwisterpaar, welches sechs Jahre nach dem verheerenden Ungl\u00c3\u00bcck, das erste Mal seinen Schutzbunker verl\u00c3\u00a4sst, steht im Mittelpunkt der Serie um den t\u00c3\u00b6dlichen regen, durch den das Virus \u00c3\u00bcbertragen wird. In den Hauptrollen begegnen wir Mikkel Boe Folsgaard, Lucas Lynggaard Tonnesen, Alba August und Lars Simonsen. Die Serie wird von Jannik Tai Mosholt, Esben Toft Jacobsen und Christian Potalivo produziert. Regie f\u00c3\u00bchren Kenneth Kainz und Natasha Arthy. Gedreht wird nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich in Skandinavien, genauer gesagt in D\u00c3\u00a4nemark und Schweden.
