Die acht geplanten Episoden sollen jeweils auf einem ihrer Lieder basieren. Das Projekt soll in Kooperation von Dixie Pixie Productions, Sam Haskells Magnolia Hill Entertainment und Warner Bros Television entstehen. Vor drei Jahren hatte NBC einen \u00c3\u00a4hnlichen Pakt mit dem Country-Star abgeschlossen &#8211; in Folge ist eine Reihe eigenst\u00c3\u00a4ndiger Filme erschienen, die auf den Liedern und dem inspirierenden Leben Partons basieren. F\u00c3\u00bcr die neue Netflix-Reihe wird Parton die Songs liefern und sich au\u00c3\u0178erdem ma\u00c3\u0178geblich an der Herstellung beteiligen. Deadline zufolge habe es Parton immer genossen, durch ihre Musik Geschichten zu erz\u00c3\u00a4hlen. Sie sei begeistert dar\u00c3\u00bcber, einige ihrer Lieblingssongs durch Netflix erneut zum Leben erwecken zu k\u00c3\u00b6nnen. Die S\u00c3\u00a4ngerin hofft, dass das Projekt Familien und Leute aller Generationen begeistern und unterhalten wird.
