Die Finanzierung erfolgt dann \u00c3\u00bcber In-App-K\u00c3\u00a4ufe. Doch die Free2Play-Mentalit\u00c3\u00a4t ist noch nicht so weit fortgeschritten, dass es sich nicht lohnt, Titel anzubieten, f\u00c3\u00bcr die schon beim Download gezahlt werden muss. Monument Valley 2 beweist es. Die k\u00c3\u00bcrzlich ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichten Zahlen zu Monument Valley 2 von ustwo zeigen deutlich, dass es sich lohnt, auf Premium-Modelle zu setzen. Seit einem Jahr ist Monument Valley 2, der Nachfolger des Hits Monument Valley von ustwo, schon auf iOS unterwegs. Das Unternehmen ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichte zum Geburtstag einen Artikel \u00c3\u00bcber Monument Valley 2 und setzt den Nachfolger mit dem Vorg\u00c3\u00a4nger in Vergleich. Die Zahlen sind sehr beeindruckend. Mehr als 3 Millionen offizielle Verk\u00c3\u00a4ufe erhielt das Spiel in diesem einen Jahr. Das sind 10 Millionen Euro. Mehr als 30 Millionen Ger\u00c3\u00a4teinstallationen vereint Monument Valley auf sich und der h\u00c3\u00b6chste Tagesumsatz lag bei 728.000 Dollar. Im Vergleich zum Deb\u00c3\u00bct Monument Valley haben sich die Zahlen praktisch verdoppelt. Ustwo berichtet aber auch von der anderen Seite, den Entwicklungskosten. Diese belaufen sich auf 2 Millionen US-Dollar \u00c3\u00bcber einen Zeitraum von 70 Wochen. 16 Kernmitglieder arbeiteten an dem Spiel mit den wunderbaren R\u00c3\u00a4tseln und optischen Illusionen. \u00c3\u0153ber 500.000 Dollar flossen in Marketingma\u00c3\u0178nahmen. Nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich steht dieser Erfolg nicht als Schablone f\u00c3\u00bcr Indie-Entwickler im Raum. Es ist neben einem guten Spiel auch immer ein bisschen Gl\u00c3\u00bcck dabei. Ustwo selbst hat nicht mit diesen Zahlen gerechnet. Doch andere Indies k\u00c3\u00b6nnen sich an diesen Zahlen ein wenig orientieren, sehen, was m\u00c3\u00b6glich ist und enthusiastischer an ihren eigenen Projekten arbeiten. Wer weiss, vielleicht sieht bald ein weiterer Indie-Titel so rosig in die Zukunft wie Monument Valley 2.
