Das Besondere an der Serie? Ricky Gervais schreibt die Drehb\u00c3\u00bccher zu Derek, spielt die Hauptrolle und f\u00c3\u00bchrt auch noch Regie. Die Hauptrolle Derek basiert auf einer Figur aus einem Stand-up-Comedy-Programm von Gervais. Derek Staffel 3 ist seit Juli auf Netflix verf\u00c3\u00bcgbar. Und wann kommt Derek Staffel 4 auf Netflix? Bisher gibt es noch keine offiziellen Aussagen dar\u00c3\u00bcber, ob es eine weitere Staffel geben wird und wann Derek Staffel 4 auf Netflix kommt. Falls sich Channel 4 jedoch f\u00c3\u00bcr die Produktion einer neuen Staffel entscheidet, gehen wir davon aus, dass diese schon kurze Zeit nach der UK-Premiere auch bei uns erscheint. Derek ist nett, hilfsbereit, selbstlos und hat nur die besten Absichten. Allerdings ist er auch sehr naiv, verletzlich, nicht besonders intelligent und hat einige merkw\u00c3\u00bcrdige Vorlieben. Er wird daher oft von den anderen ausgegrenzt und verh\u00c3\u00b6hnt. Derek selbst ist es jedoch wichtiger, nett zu sein, als sch\u00c3\u00b6n oder intelligent. In Derek werden die Pfleger und Bewohner als Au\u00c3\u0178enseiter dargestellt, die ungl\u00c3\u00bccklich sind, da sie von der Gesellschaft benachteiligt und ausgeschlossen werden. Die Idee f\u00c3\u00bcr Derek hatte Gervais, da er Verwandte hat, die in Pflegeheimen t\u00c3\u00a4tig sind. Derek wurde von Derek Productions f\u00c3\u00bcr den britischen Sender Channel 4 produziert, wo die Serie im April 2012 ihre Premiere hatte. <b>Wusstet ihr schon?<\/b> Die Serie Derek war auch schon vor der Ausstrahlung umstritten. Zum einen wurde kritisiert, dass die Darstellung des offenbar geistig behinderten Derek unangemessen sei. Zum anderen basiere die Serie zu sehr auf Elementen von Gervais fr\u00c3\u00bcheren Sendungen.
