Passenderweise spendiert Netflix gleich die richtige Serie f\u00c3\u00bcr die dunklen Abendstunden. Am 12. Oktober geht es los und wir d\u00c3\u00bcrfen uns in die Geschichten von The Haunting Hill of House verlieben, die uns hoffentlich genauso das F\u00c3\u00bcrchten lernen wie Stranger Things. Die Horrorserie basiert auf dem gleichnamigen Gothic-Horror-Roman von Shirley Jackson, die ihren Lesern schon im Jahr 1953 Angst machte. F\u00c3\u00bcnf Geschwister wachsen in einem der bekanntesten Spukh\u00c3\u00a4user im Lande auf. Die gesamte Familie trifft sich nach einer schlimmen Trag\u00c3\u00b6die in dem Haus wieder &#8211; allerdings als Geister. Sie lauern in den den Ecken des Hauses und spuken, aber sie dringen auch in den Geist der Menschen. Wem die Geschichte bekannt vorkommt, der hat The Haunting Hill of House schon einmal gesehen. Nat\u00c3\u00bcrlich nicht als Serie bei Netflix, aber vielleicht im Kino, denn schon zweimal wurde die Geschichte des Horror-Hauses verfilmt. Unter den Namen \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Bis das Blut gefriert\u00e2\u20ac\u009d und \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Das Geisterschloss\u00e2\u20ac\u009d trieben die gruseligen Geister 1963 und 1999 ihr Unwesen in den deutschen Kinos. F\u00c3\u00bcr die Umsetzung der Serie wurden Elizabeth Reaser, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel, Carla Gugino, Michiel Huisman und Victoria Pedretti als Hauptdarsteller gewonnen. Die Produktion \u00c3\u00bcbernahm Mike Flanagan als Regisseur und Executive Producer. Er wurde dabei von Showrunner Meredith Averill unterst\u00c3\u00bctzt.
