F\u00c3\u00bcr das Projekt sind Chad Fiveash und James Stoteraux, die Macher der Erfolgsserie The Vampire Diaries, verantwortlich. Die neue Serie namens The Cove wird unter den D\u00c3\u00a4chern von Warner Bros. Television und Compari Entertainment produziert. Im Zentrum von The Cove stehen zwei Schwestern. Nach dem Tod ihres Vaters reisen die beiden in die Karibik \u00e2\u20ac\u201c dort haben sie fr\u00c3\u00bcher gemeinsam als Familie viel Zeit verbracht. In der Karibik angekommen stellen die Geschwister fest, dass ihnen als Kinder so einiges verborgen geblieben ist. Ihnen wird klar, warum ihr verstorbener Vater so besessen von einem Schatz, der einen Schl\u00c3\u00bcssel zum ewigen Leben enthalten k\u00c3\u00b6nnte, war. Robert Zemeckis, der als Regisseur f\u00c3\u00bcr Forest Gump fungierte, wird als Executive Producer f\u00c3\u00bcr The Cove arbeiten. Unterst\u00c3\u00bctzt wird er von Jackie Levine.
