Die Verl\u00c3\u00a4ngerung erfolgte somit nur knapp drei Wochen nach der Ausstrahlung der finalen Episode von Staffel 3. Die Ver\u00c3\u00b6ffentlichung der angek\u00c3\u00bcndigten 4. Staffel, die unter den D\u00c3\u00a4chern von Universal Cable Productions und Fox 21 Television Studios produziert wird, ist f\u00c3\u00bcr das kommende Jahr geplant. Was die Crew betrifft, so kommen mit der neuen Staffel einige Ver\u00c3\u00a4nderungen. Natalie Chaidez, die als Executive Producer und Showrunner f\u00c3\u00bcr die letzten beiden Staffeln fungierte, tritt zur\u00c3\u00bcck. Ihre Nachfolge werden der bisherige Co-Executive Producer Dailen Rodriguez und Ben Lobato, der bisher als Produzent engagiert war, antreten. Als Co-Showrunner sollen die beiden von David T. Friendly unterst\u00c3\u00bctzt werden. Chaidez betonte, dass sie die QOTS-Familie und die Fans vermissen werde, sie sei stolz darauf, den Staffelstab weiterzugeben und das Wachstum der neuen Co-Showrunner zu unterst\u00c3\u00bctzen. Nach zwei unglaublichen Jahren, die Chaidez gemeinsam mit USA Network an der Spitze von Queen of the South verbracht hat, plant sie nun, in Vollzeit eigene Projekte mit ihren Freunden bei Fox und den Fox 21 Television Studios zu entwickeln.
