Die Serie geht auf eine Idee von Kynan Griffin und Jason Faller zur\u00c3\u00bcck, als Executive Producer fungieren Dean Devlin (The Librarians) und Jonathan Glassner (Stargate SG-1). Die 1. Staffel von The Outpost wurde im Sommer in den USA ausgestrahlt, deutschlandweit laufen die Episoden derzeit beim Pay-TV-Sender Syfy. Im Zentrum der Serie steht Talon (Jessica Green). Sie ist die einzige \u00c3\u0153berlebende ihres Stammes \u00e2\u20ac\u017eBlackbloods\u00e2\u20ac\u0153 und auf Rache gesinnt, weil ihre komplettes Dorf und ihre ganze Familie ausgel\u00c3\u00b6scht wurden. Talon hat \u00c3\u00bcbernat\u00c3\u00bcrliche Kr\u00c3\u00a4fte und arbeitet noch daran zu lernen, wie sie diese kontrollieren kann. Auf der Suche nach den M\u00c3\u00b6rdern ihres Stammes schlie\u00c3\u0178t sie eine Allianz mit einer K\u00c3\u00b6nigin, die die Welt gegen einen religi\u00c3\u00b6sen fanatischen Diktator verteidigen m\u00c3\u00b6chte. Da The Outpost in Zusammenarbeit von Syfy und The CW produziert wird, stand es lange Zeit in den Sternen, ob die Serie eine 2. Staffel erhalten wird.
