Trions Portfolio besteht aus Massive Multiplayer Online Games f\u00c3\u00bcr Konsolen und PC und beinhaltet bekannte Titel wie Rift, Defiance, Trove und ArcheAge. Das Unternehmen hat Standorte in Redwood City (Kalifornien) und Austin (Texas). Trion wurde im Rahmen eines \u00e2\u20ac\u0153Assignment for the Benefit of the Creditors\u00e2\u20ac\u009d-Prozesses erworben, bei dem der K\u00c3\u00a4ufer nur die Verm\u00c3\u00b6genswerte kauft, mit denen er das Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ft fortsetzen m\u00c3\u00b6chte. Innerhalb dieses Prozesses wurden die Rechte am geistigen Eigentum von Trion durch die Padmapani GmbH erworben, eine Schwestergesellschaft der gamigo AG: Die gamigo Gruppe hat dar\u00c3\u00bcber hinaus weitere Assets, einschlie\u00c3\u0178lich der Plattform erworben, \u00c3\u00bcbernimmt Mitarbeiter um den Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsbetrieb weiterzuf\u00c3\u00bchren und erh\u00c3\u00a4lt die vollen Publishingrechte an den Trion-Spielen. \u00e2\u20ac\u017eDie erfolgreiche Akquisition und jetzt darauffolgende Integration von Trion Worlds in unser Portfolio st\u00c3\u00a4rkt gamigo\u00e2\u20ac\u02dcs Position sowohl im europ\u00c3\u00a4ischen als auch im amerikanischen Spielemarkt nachhaltig. Einerseits f\u00c3\u00bcgen wir passende und erfolgreiche Spiele zum breiten gamigo-Portfolio hinzu. Andererseits m\u00c3\u00b6chten wir die betr\u00c3\u00a4chtlichen Chancen aus Synergieeffekten mit unseren bestehenden Gesch\u00c3\u00a4ftsstrukturen bestm\u00c3\u00b6glich nutzen und so weiter vom au\u00c3\u0178ergew\u00c3\u00b6hnlichen Wachstumspotenzial im Gaming-Markt profitieren\u00e2\u20ac\u0153, kommentiert gamigo Vorstand Remco Westermann. Durch die Akquisition von Trion erwartet das Management von gamigo f\u00c3\u00bcr 2019 zus\u00c3\u00a4tzliche Ums\u00c3\u00a4tze von \u00c3\u00bcber 18 Mio. USD und ein zus\u00c3\u00a4tzliches EBITDA in H\u00c3\u00b6he von 1 bis 4 Mio. USD. Diese Einsch\u00c3\u00a4tzung h\u00c3\u00a4ngt vom Erfolg der Restrukturierung und Integration von Trion ab und basiert vor allem auf m\u00c3\u00b6glichen Skaleneffekten und Synergien.
